"If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off." - Sir Isuck Newton

Get Your Emo Kid Now <3>
HAHA.. ^ That is so like my sister and so many people i know..
Okay, basically this post is meant for Charlene.
Last week, Char and I were studying in Macky Dees at Parkway when this woman over at the other table who was tutoring this angmoh-ish tao nan boy came over and talked to us.
It was the weirdest thing ever!
Well, at first she just asked if she could see our Bio text book so she could show her son. But after that she started this whole discussion/rant (?) on the education system in Singapore. It was so interesting! But kinda awkward for me, seeing as we're total strangers, but Charlene was TOTALLY comfortable and she shared her own experiences too, for eg like how she tutors this relative of hers who was slightly autistic like the woman's son. But the woman seemed almost.. desperate. Like she'll say "I just don't see a future for him in Singapore." She was really really nice, and I feel sorry for her. Her husband was this frenchman, and he wants to send the kid over to some other country but- I forgot.
Anyways, I have to go galivanting at the beach with RORIE now. C'ya!

Social Studies Sucks Shit

Surefire way to know your friend is mugging too hard for her SS exam...

"I'm going to migrate to Switzerland. Wanna come?"

The irony of studying SS...

Jozzie and I even came up with alliterations to "help" us study:

  • Industrialisation is inexplicably idiotic
  • Dizzie doesn't dig Diplomacy. Die, dreaded Deterrence!
  • Merger makes me malicious...

Surprisingly, there was a mixed reaction. I thought everybody loved the Swiss.

Li Shan: "You're kidding right right right?! No! Don't go!
Jozette: "Yes!!"
Nawal: "WHEN?? I WANT."
Jacqueline: "Yes please! To the romansh speaking region!"
Azzah: "Switzerland?! R u Serious?? Y?!? Ur family Migrating wif d ang moh or wat?!? Dn leave!! Yukanaide!! T_T "

Hmm. I wonder.

RESTRICTED (artistic)

Sigh.

Okay, I'll come out and admit it. I'm a closet narcissist.

Ask any mirror.

>> OKAY anyway. Here's a poem I scriboodled when I was bored out of my mind studying SS, after the illegal smugglers* Jacq and Aza left. Contrary to populare beliefe, my sis and I do not have zero interest in guys. Well, not ZERO, anyway.

Girl, 16, Bored
(My kind of guy)

Strong Arms
Sweep me off my feet
Suckulent lips
The taste of love is sweet
A good tongue
You can't go wrong with humour
Passionate feet
The thrill of the chase- you can't go far without fervour
Q-tips at hand
Catch my every word
No BB** please
Blow kisses black - shh, not a word
UHU glue, armed and ready
Break my heart, but fix it, quick

And there it is, all the qualities he needs.
Maybe just one more
... What rhymes with

Quick?

yeah man. that's it.

- Mother (in heat)

*to enter the study room you have to sign up for a $55 membership
**bad breath (BB was an acronym my sis's shanghai friend in pri sch came up with.. she used to call my sis BB girl =))

Pertinacious. Unflappable.

YO. LONG TIME NO SEE, HUH?

Since LIZZIE is being such an ASS and does not want to PROPERLY UPDATE, I have to take responsibility and write something to entertain/humour Jacqie even though i don't quite feel up to it.

Erm. Where should i begin?

Life sucks. I think that bout sums it up.

Let me give you a summary of what's been happening the past week:

Minimal revision. Haven't even started on my Humanities.

And EVEN THOUGH this period is critical for studying, My brother STILL tempts me to watch his and his friend's downloaded stuff. Ergo, I've watched ALMOST ALL the eppies of House till the VERY CURRENT ONE in the US. The WHOLE first season of grey anatomy. THANK GOODNESS i didn't get sucked into the SUPERNATURAL vortex. If i were to start watching that, MY WHOLE MID-YR RESULTS WILL BE DISASTROUS. And when i mean i watch these series, i don't watch them ONE episode a day... I mean the WHOLE SEASON.

I think because i'm starting to take coffe again i'm getting REALLY restless and hostile. And i keep avoiding THEM whenever i can, i think. And NO i won't tell you who. I think i just need more sleep or something.

And i still haven't come up with a poem yet. DASTARD MID-YRS. And i'm SUPPOSED to submit a poem for this competition thingy but i can't find a positive perspective of S'pore. :D I ONLY write sad and depressing ones, if you have not known already. LIGHT AND FLUFFY, NO THANK YOU MAN. I need inspiration FAST.

And i think i should end here. I need to start revising EFFECTIVELY and not just STARE at my textbook.

YAY! I WRITE LONG LONG WAN. UNLIKE WANKER LORELAI. =)

- The Daughter

Oh. I just decided to add the pic on e whim. EXCELLENT drawing isn't it?? Not mine though.
